The CF Foundation announced that it has invested an additional $5 million in BiomX to support a Phase 2b clinical trial to test the effectiveness of its bacteriophage (phage) therapy in treating chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections — the second most common type of lung infection in people with cystic fibrosis. Phage therapy uses phages (bacteria-specific viruses) to kill specific bacterial strains that are causing an infection.

Yesterday, WesleyLife Meals on Wheels team members enjoyed a special honor. Thanks to Boesen The Florist, they were able to treat client Marvin to a special birthday celebration for his 100th! Marvin says while his body might not always cooperate, his mind is in a good place; his meal-delivery driver reports that during his lunch drop-off, Marvin always enjoys talking about current events.
