In May 2013, the Iowa International Children's Festival will bring thousands of schools students and families to downtown Des Moines for a five-day celebration of international theater, arts, music and culture. The annual Festival will attract some 18,000 students and

families to downtown Des Moines for a five-day celebration of international theater, arts, music and culture. The Festival will feature more than 50 performances, six international performing companies, and a free outdoor area with music, art-making activities and roving artists.
