We had the honor and privilege to work on the setting for Des Moines Metro Opera
as they celebrate the opening of the 2024 Season! The Opera Gala was an elegant evening highlighted by performances from mainstage artists.

This year’s Opera Gala took place in one of downtown Des Moines’ most iconic buildings­­—the Ruan Center. The 1975 building stands 140 meters tall, and was the tallest building in Iowa until the completion of 801 Grand in 1991. The Ruan Center was named one of the 50 Most Significant Iowa Buildings of the 20th Century by the Iowa chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Be prepared to immerse yourself in the elegance and beauty of this exclusive and uniquely transformed venue provided by the Ruan family.
