We thought the groundhog said that there wasn't going to be six more weeks of winter! 🙈 🤔 Mother Nature clearly had other ideas, so due to the snow we are delaying services by one day in the Appleton and Outagamie County area. 📅

Wednesday service will be Thursday
Thursday service will be Friday
Friday service will be Saturday

🎄 Christmas Tree Disposal Tips!

❄️ Winter is giving our Christmas trees an extra frosty touch! If your trees are covered in snow, frozen to the ground, or not easily accessible, don't worry. We'll pick them up as soon as the temperature allows us to safely remove them.

🌲 We've got some helpful disposal tips in our carousel below! Scroll through to ensure your tree can be recycled.

⌚ Don't want to wait for pickup? No worries! You can drop off your Christmas tree at any of our convenient transfer stations.

Due to the upcoming snowstorm, our services have some updates for Tuesday, January 09. Your safety and the safety of our team are our top priorities, so please take note of these changes!

Dane County Landfill is closed tomorrow which means that DeForest and Westport will be postponed. Additionally services will be delayed for Columbus, Westport, DeForest, Waterloo, and Blooming Grove.

All other services in Wisconsin will attempt to run as normal tomorrow weather permitting.

Last week, LRS participated in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)'s Safe + Sound Week! Join us in congratulating our employees who were nominated as Safety Champions and for going above and beyond to always put safety first. Our locations also participated in OSHA's Halt A Hazard challenge to identify hazards and find ways to fix them at our locations!

This week’s employee highlight is commercial driver, Eric Barrett from our New Berlin, WI location. Eric ensures that he is always in the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and is following LRS’ Rules to Live By. He always brightens everyone’s day with his outgoing personality! Outside of LRS, he enjoys riding his Harley and attending Harley functions in the Milwaukee area. Eric, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication at LRS!
