Are you ready??? We sure are, and we are excited to see everyone for our first CHIPLEY’S DOWNTOWN FALL BLOCK PARTY!!

(This will be a long post, but stay with us ... it is all the things you will want to know... or have asked already.)

OUR DOWNTOWN SHOPS WILL BE OPEN!! So be sure to stop by and see them because they have worked hard to get ready for you and are excited to see you ALL!

We have a special night planned with over 60 vendors, YES SIXTY vendors, including THREE live music artists, food trucks/tents, and artisan vendors.

But first things first - SAFETY

Streets will be closed to ensure pedestrians' safety. Once you park, you are good for the night.

Street Closures:

5th Street - (US 90 to Church Ave)
7th Street - (US 90 to Church Ave)
N & S Railroad - (2nd Street - 8th Street)

PLEASE WATCH FOR PEDESTRIANS!!

Thank you, City of Chipley and Chipley Police Department, for working with us and being present during the event, and to Sheriff Kevin Crews, Washington County Sheriff's Office, for helping to provide lighting for downtown. Each of you made sure all pedestrians and event attendees will have a fun, safe experience!

So let's talk about the elephant in the room ... We realize these street closures will raise questions about parking. Well, we wish we had a magical wand to wave, providing front-row parking to everyone. Unfortunately, we don’t … we know it's sad!

We CAN, however, suggest a few places that have reached out about available parking, though ...

T & B Hidden Treasures on HWY 90 near 7th Street. THANK YOU!
Chipley Piggly Wiggly is located on Church Ave and is one of our generous sponsors!
Spanish Trail Playhouse (Old CHS Parking Lot) It may be a little walk but enjoy the breeze! Thank you, Superintendent Joe Taylor!!

There are also the City parking lots located at the North and South Corners of US 90 and S.R. 77.

There are various other parking lots surrounding downtown that are open to be used as well.

PLEASE use good judgment and stay off people’s lawns!

(N & S Railroad Ave from 5th Street to 7th Street).
Will be lined with various vendors. Food, Snacks, Artisan, Games, and more...

EAST OF HWY 77

Pumpkin Patches will be located on the green at the old Train Depot located on 7th Street.

Lil Pumpkin Crossing

With nearly 700 mini and pie-sized pumpkins, our kiddos can frolic through their own patch, choosing the pumpkin of their dreams to take home for FREE, thanks to Elite Realty!!

We also owe a HUGE THANK YOU to Main Street Market for acquiring these for us! It was no easy job, we can assure you!

Also, this patch would not be possible, at this scale, without their work and generosity. Thank you, MSM, for supporting our community kiddos!

The Pumpkin Station

The bigger folks patch will offer 200 ish pumpkins in various sizes and styles, including ‘carving’ pumpkins. SO, we look forward to seeing lots of photos of pumpkins being decorated and carved following our party! Tag us!

This is where we are launching our monthly Artisan Market!

Don’t forget to bring non-perishable food items to enter to win our Grand Giveaway. The basket of goodies will be supplied by downtown shops.

Thank you to The Woman's Club of Chipley for hosting this food drive. Be sure to drop off your donations at their booth to receive your raffle ticket. They will be located under the pavilion (Booth 21) near the pumpkin patches. They will donate these items to our local food pantry to help support our community as we near the holiday season.

The Historical Society will have old Mrs. Nepper's best friend on the front porch telling all her secrets, so be sure to stop in and listen to what she has to say.

Inside, Museum Director Dorothy Odom will tell the tales of local ghosts and stories!

The Cupcake walk will begin on 7th Street at 6:30pm and will go on until the Historical Society is out of cupcakes! Have Fun!
