At this year’s Ford Motor Company Fireworks, we will celebrate 20 incredible years of the Ford Volunteer Corps. Founded by Bill Ford, the program has empowered Ford employees to lend their skills and expertise to support local communities since 2005.

The impact? 1.8 million volunteer hours dedicated to supporting 300 non-profits, helping communities build and rebuild in 39 countries around the world.

In an effort to expand the reach and impact of America’s Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Gardner-White, The Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation also has produced a variety of auxiliary fundraising and community outreach events including Hob Nobble Gobble® presented by Ford, a spectacular black-tie fundraising event; Ford Fireworks, a Detroit Kick-off to summer; 1998, 1999 & 2002 Red Wings Victory Parades; The 1998 University of Michigan Rose Bowl Victory Parade; the 1999 Big Balloon Parade staged in Green Bay, Wisconsin; and The Parade Company assisted Australia with their Centenary of FederationParade on January 1, 2001.
