It’s Christmas Eve! Final preparations are underway and we couldn’t be happier! The stockings are hung and the kitchen smells like Christmas cookies.

This holiday season has been so blessed and full of love. We have enjoyed seeing all the ways you all have been celebrating this year!

For Dom and Austin’s wedding our decor goal was boho chic. The backdrop was the beautiful near downtown Columbus. We didn’t add to much to the space decor wise and to save money our lead Coordinator, Pilar agreed to execute the look.

The white grid wall and black carpet from were the perfect pieces for the ceremony. Pilar, for the first time ever…(after watching a lot of YouTube) constructed the beautiful cascading arrangements full of a variety of roses, 2 different types of pampas, eucalyptus, and other greenery. Then we just added some simple candles to go down the aisle.

The weather this day had us worried. We were worried about rain. We were worried the sun wouldn’t shine. We were worried it would effect our schedule for the day.

Many of the things we deal with in life and sometimes in our marriages make us worried in the same way. The sun won’t shine, things won’t always go as planned, there will be storms.

Much like that day, we had our back up plans in place and no rain was going to hinder us.

In the end, the rain cleared, there were several moments throughout the day of sunshine and our worries melted away.

If you still think I’m talking about weather, you’ve missed the point.
