This time of year is all about closing out the books on the years events and working on mock ups for the next.

Each wedding was such a vibe this year and I loved how personal each felt. It’s been a blast reliving the days as I work on what’s ahead.

The pandemic threw a lot of curves at us these past two years in the industry but one thing I found was that the clients I worked with decided what were the elements most important, most personal, and most meaningful and ran with it.

It was so much less about what was the standard or what was expected and was about being excited and grateful to gather again.
•
While I’m sure 2022 will come with its challenges it’s looking like a killer season already.

When working with clients in their home the challenge really comes down to what to use out of the decor they already have.
•
It’s not about doing shopping to complete a concept it’s about unpacking every bulb (family heirloom ones and unbreakables alike ), every roll of ribbon, and each stem and sorting out how to get a cohesive look while honoring the assortment in front of me!

There is something very satisfying about taking a clients collection and creating something they may not have done themselves.

I have been spending the last two days at my clients home decking it out for the holidays.

While my projects normally consist of me gathering products to style, this time it was all about blending two house holds worth of decor together.

With this year being their first as a blended family in this home I feel honored to be able to sort through the bins two to make 2.5 levels of holiday magic!

Keeping the greens tight and the clutter to a minimum we fell right in line with my clients everyday modern vibe!
