Greetings DAMNED artists, fans, family and friends,

For the past few months, we have remained silent in regards to our 2nd attempt at celebrating our 13th anniversary event. Due to unfortunate circumstances beyond our wishes or control, we will not be hosting the DAMNED Exhibition in 2021. It is our hope that we can bring forth our grand exhibition of enlightened dark art and performance in October 2022.

Today, FRIDAY THE 13TH, is the final day of the DAMNED FUNDRAISER to benefit Burners without Borders Detroit! 13% of the profits of from our new DAMNED Store will help BWBD with their continuing care of our friends living on the cold Detroit streets (read more about the amazing things they do at their link below).

Devil's Night is finally upon us and we are DAMNED proud to announce the following new additions to the DAMNED website:

DAMNED SHOWCASE - The DAMNED Showcase is a intimate look into some of the DAMNED performers and artists that have graced our floors and walls throughout the years. We have invited them to share their favored images and some reflection upon their art, the exhibition and experiences intertwined. (Note: This is a continuing project and new additions will be added as they are submitted)

DAMNED ARCHIVES - The DAMNED Archives is an listing of every and all artists and performers, local and international, featured at the DAMNED Exhibition from year one in 2008.

DAMNED STORE - At the DAMNED Store, you will find masks, tshirts, hoodies, mugs, phone cases, stickers and more featuring our unique DAMNED ambigram logo designed by DAMNED artist Eric Millikin. This logo will read the same whether deeply reflecting upon your DAMNED life in the mirror or taking your DAMNED mirror selfies. The purchase of these items help us to offset storage rentals, hosting fees and other operational costs that greatly accumulate between events, even more so since the 2020 event has been unfortunately cancelled.

We are counting down the nights until Devil's Night October 30th when we premier the DAMNED Showcase featuring various past performers and artists sharing their past imagery and thoughts on DAMNED throughout the years. We will also premier the DAMNED Archives that will list every performer and artist that have graced our floors and walls since 2008.

Until then, we are pleased to announce the debut of the DAMNED Store, where you will find DAMNED masks, tshirts, hoodies, mugs, phone cases, stickers and more! Greetings artists, fans, family and friends,

For the past few months, we weighed heavily within our thoughts as we watched the world unexpectantly change before us all. We had planned to make an announcement on the 1st of June in regards to our 2020 event. Then a tragedy came, laid upon numerous tragedies before it, and it became important to give room for other voices that were necessary to be heard. Briefly for the record on our stance, we strongly stand in unity with Black Lives Matter.

Through the various uncertainties of the pandemic, thoughts towards the health and safety of our patrons, performers and crew became paramount. This brought the dire necessity to redesign and restructure our plans for our 13th anniversary event. With those uncertainties of the coming months, we simply do not feel comfortable in producing a social event that could jeopardize the health and safety of you all.

Instead, we will be creating a virtual tribute to the numerous artist and performers who have graced our walls and stage throughout our past years. This will consist of individual showcases with words from each artist and performer on their most favored creative pieces, accompanied by any available media we can find. A recollection of all who made DAMNED truly unique since year one that will remain online for DAMNED years to come.

We will be reaching out to all artists and performers during the summer with further details. In the meantime, we truly hope you all stay safe and well.
