The North End Urban Expressions Art Festival: The Healing is a week long festival that takes place in the North End neighborhood of Detroit. The Oakland Avenue Artists Coalition, Know Allegiance Nation, North End Christian CDC and many other partners have come together to celebrate the North End for the past 10 years with "The Healing" festival in the North End. The festival uplifts the wonderful

food of the city, includes performances (poetry, jazz, gospel, etc...), workshops (yoga, hula hoop making, etc...) community conversations and more. There is poetry slam, film viewing, and community project micro fundraiser that are apart of the overall festival. Please join us for the annual celebration our beautiful North End community.
