Green burial = beauty in so many ways.

If there weren't already enough reasons to go green at the time of a death, there's this. ART and beauty on the grave itself. How healing for grieving people to get to do this for their loved one. Wow.

“Normally people are so used to following tradition... And it really did turn into a party... instead of the normal crying and all of that. Her son was like, ‘it feels like Mommy’s here.’”

The Roselle Park mother of two died of cancer in May. One of her final requests was for friends and family not to wear traditional, black clothes to her funeral.
