If anyone needs a last minute highest quality gourmet Sicilian food basket, I’m ya girl! I can honestly say I taste tested and searched high and low for the best brands and ingredients from local (as in my own garden) to Verona, Italy and everywhere in between. All companies are small batch family owned producers. My Sicilian culinary gift basket includes my own proprietary blend of home grown organic herbs and spices, my favorite Texas Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Saratoga Springs Sicilian Lemon vinegar, Italian breadsticks, a bread basket and hand painted dipping bowl. I’ve also included 2 recipes cards I’ve written for my spice blend. I only have 20 Sicilian baskets so Lmk. $50 and free local delivery or pick up. Buon Natale!

Le Limoncello Pendola story:
Limoncello Pendola is a 100% organic fine liqueur, handmade in Dickinson, Texas from only the purest, finest quality ingredients. Every step, from the first planting of the crop, decades ago, to hand-picking the lemons at their peak ripeness, to the distilling to perfection, is overseen by my family and myself personally by my female-owned company. For over 200 years, Sicilians like my great grandfather, Calogero Pendola, have sailed through the port of New Orleans to settle these banks in pursuit of the American dream. While Southern Italy may claim the best lemons and Limoncello in the world, I’d dare to say America’s Southern Gulf Coast gives them a run for their money. This soil and climate, which mimics our homeland, is where my lemon micro-orchard and home now reside. It produces sweet fruit with particularly light, floral notes and low acidity due to my family’s own heirloom seeds. First tip to begin the Holiday cooking season: Mix up one of my fave "leftover" libations to get you in the holiday spirit--thread a few cranberries through 2-3 sprigs of rosemary (fresh from my backyard is best) then put a slight spoon of cranberry jelly and Cointreau in the bottom, fill with Prosecco. Then loudly play Dean Martin Christmas Music (Sinatra and Elvis will also suffice) proceed to dance around the kitchen until you forget what you were supposed to be cooking. Prob doesn't matter at this point anyway. Just offer potential guests a cocktail

Since it's fall and work/school is crazy I haven't had nearly the time I'd like to cook, I caught this on Foodnetwork last wkend (Loving Valerie btw)
and was inspired. Now I'm obsessed w beer bread! Who would've thought it was so simple and easy to have the smell and taste of fresh bread coming from your very own kitchen in less than an hour? I left out the parm, substituting w melted butter bc I really wanted my homegrown rosemary to shine. I'm so obsessed today I'm making Chocolate Stout Beer bread, Pumpkin Ale Pumpkin Bread, and whatever else I can come up with. Try it! Ill post more as they come out.
