Christmas at Compassion this past weekend was amazing and powerful! BUT we aren’t finished yet! Join us THIS weekend on Christmas Eve at 4P & 6P to experience a candlelight service you won’t want to miss! This will be a service to include all of your family (even your kids!) and we can’t wait to see you there!

We will be streaming ONLINE ONLY on Christmas Day! It will be a rebroadcasting of the Christmas Eve service at 8:30A // 10:15A // 11:55A

COMPASSION!! Look at the overflowing Radio Flyer! Thank YOU for being dedicated and helping us achieve our goal of blessing the DCS children and placing a smile on their face when they receive these toys. The DCS Toy Drive couldn’t have been this successful without YOU. This is just one of the amazing things we have done this month to give back to our community with our generosity. It is better to give than to receive 🙌🏽 We appreciate everything each and every one of you are doing for OUR community!

📢 The First Saturday in May. 📢

You asked. We listened.

The OTD Committee met earlier in the week to do some preliminary planning for next years festival + events. After receiving input from attendees, elected officials, participating businesses + organizations, and community members young and old, the committee voted in favor of returning the event to The First Saturday in May. 📆

May 6th will be here before we know it, so be sure to check back regularly for updates and opportunities to join the fun + festivities! You WON’T want to miss it! 🥳

We have so much to be thankful for, and we wanted to share our blessings with those who need it.

We will be hosting a free traditional turkey dinner on Thanksgiving for anyone who needs or wants to come.
Maybe you can’t afford a dinner this year, maybe you aren’t in a place to cook one, maybe you have no one to share Thanksgiving with. Whatever the reason, we invite you to our table.

We will begin serving at 11am on Thanksgiving day at the restaurant until about 2:30, or until we run out. We will have enough for 75ish people.
Please come as you are and let us feed you. It’s what we do best.

This Sunday, Nov. 6th, the Veterans Parade will begin at 2pm, immediately following the parade The City of Dickson Parks & Rec will host a live concert with a kid zone in Holland Park.
We will feature music with Leslie Dysinger, bouncy houses, face painting and balloons!!
