Our Amazing History
This old Athens's home known as “White Hall” was taken apart board by board, numbered, and loaded on the railroad back in 1906. The Tallulah Falls Railroad didn’t extend farther than Mountain City in that year so a very determined Mrs. White loaded it on a mule cart and transported it to its present location.
