Because marriage is worth celebrating!

Here it is: Our custom kitchen transformation! We are thrilled with our new custom, farmhouse kitchen. It was indeed a labor of love! Mitch and I hung the brick walls and backsplash. He designed and set the herringbone pattern behind the hood and stove by himself. It has been months in the planning and works, and now we can bask in its beauty, design, and function, and enjoy gatherings around our massive island. We couldn’t have completed this project without the expertise of Mimi and Faith and the talented wood crafters of Heritage Custom Cabinets, North Dinwiddie. We are so appreciative of their direction and thoughtfulness to details. The beautiful floors were stained and refinished by Bo’s Hardwood Floors of Petersburg. Been a busy weekend on the farm. We’ve been baling and gettin’ up hay, and thanks to some good help, we got the job done!

It’s always exciting to see the combines roll through the fields. The wheat is being harvested on the farm, and beans will be drilled soon! #summerseason #bainbrothersandsonsfarming
