Happy weekend

So, this spanish guy searched for cakes near him and he saw a couple cake shops and started viewing their works and reviews, he said " when I got to yours, I was amazed, your work is beautiful, neat, organized and then with all 5-star reviews of over 100 reviews, he said to himself, this person must be doing something good, immediately he booked his cake tasting for the next 2 days and I had it all set up well and him and his wife enjoyed the cakes and then put in their order for their daughter's 1st birthday.

They sent me cake B in the picture above, and his asked if I can do it, I said we'll I will define do something more beautiful and we concluded on that faithful day.

Fast-forward to today, he came to the shop to pick his daughter's cake, upon seeing the cake (cake A) , He exclaimed "WOOOOOAAAHH" this is super beautiful and ge asked that I send him a picture of it so he can send to his wife, immediately he sent it over the wife replied "PERFECTO" and he said you will see more of us.

So what am I trying to explain? In business, there a certain level of perfection, accountability and visibility yoyr business needs to exhibit to enable growth.

Social media visibility is the greatest marketing strategy in this generation.

Hi and happy weekend I am sharing with your way steps to stacking tiered cakes.
It's quite easy. Give it a try.

The looks of Christmas rich fruit cake.
As Christmas approaches, every family delights in the sweetness of Christmas cake.
You can make that cake for your family this Christmas

Ingredients:

Flour 500g
Butter/margarine 500g
Brown sugar 400g
Egg 8 large
Mixed spice 1tablespoon
Nutmeg 1tablespoon
Cinnamon powder 1tablespoon
Baking powder 1teaspoon
Browning (as much as you want depending on the color you want to achieve)
Flavor of choice (fruit flavors are best) 1tablespoon
Raisins 1½cups (presoaked in rum or brandy or apple juice)
Glazed cherry ½cup
Lemon zest 1tablespoon
Black treacle 1tablespoon (optional)
Nuts 1cup (optional because of allergey)

Procedure:

*Cream butter and brown sugar for about 5mins till its soft and light.
*Gradually add the eggs while the mixer is on medium speed
*Then, sift the flour and add all the dry ingredients (the spices and baking powder) and keep aside.
* Add the wet ingredients ( flavor, browning, blacke treacle) and keep mixing
*pour in half of the flour mixture and mix on low speed
* Mix the remaining half of the flour with the raising until they are coated with the flour and pour into the mixture.
* Finally, add the cherries and nuts and fold in with spatula. Then transfer to the baking pan and bake until it is done.

Note: you can add more nuts and fruits on top before it goes into the oven.

Buttercream is my go to whenever I have emergency cakes because it a little easier to work with and yet comes out pretty.

One thing I don't moss is having cakes in the freezer. It saves me a whole lot. Preserving cakes in the freezer is the nest method pf preservation because once ypu bring it out and allows it to thaw for 30mins, it will be as fresh as the same day it was baked. Leaving it in the refrigerator reduces its shelf life.
Also buttercream can be frozen for up to 3 to 4months.

When a customer says create something without giving you an idea, it can be tricky because you don't know exactly what the person may like but then being a ble to create something and the customer loves it, is always a a win..
