Open to the Public is this weekend! Come on out to see our new set up!
While you are here, feed some animals, plant a pasture to take home, play some games, take a hay ride and hunt for butterflies!

Saw someone doing this on Facebook so the neighbor's chickens had to test it out...

Score the jack-o-lantern face and let them do the rest! They worked on it all day and made it to the center on the mouth area.
They are back at it today.

It is so funny how they do not peck at any other part of the pumpkin

One of our volunteers getting to take Buddy for a ride after the birthday party.

Buddy is our Paint horse. He has popped in for a few of the parties and yesterday, he did his first petting zoo. He did great but is too big for our pens.
We will be getting new pens soon and then he will get to come to more parties.
Keep your eye out for our new set up in the near future.

We welcomed a new baby Zebu into our Funny Farm family on Saturday! She arrived a few hours after a birthday party ended.
Still working out her name. My husband is calling her Betty Boop for the moment.

In the pictures, she was sticking her nose in the dirt being silly....

WE ARE RESCEDULING with PRE-REGISTRAION ONLY
for Tuesday, July 4th. (We have created a new event with details)
With fewer volunteers available, WE WILL BE REQUIRING PRE-REGISTRATION and PRE-PAYMENT for the event.
This hard decision was made due to tomorrow's forecast showing high winds and storms during event times AND because of the weather we had yesterday. We do not want to put our animals OR our guests in danger.
Honestly, If yesterday's weather had not happened, we may have tried to do the event but after being out in it with falling branches and flying objects and seeing how nervous the animals were, I can't risk it.

The kids made Sonic the Hedgehog medals as a craft project since the theme was Sonic. So busy having fun we only got a few pictures.

Our last baby finally made it here...
A little girl!
2 girls and 2 boys this year.

All 4 babies are now running around acting crazy. They are learning how fast they can go and how to jump and twirl in the air. They are finding things to climb on and head butting each other off the dirt mound to determine who is King of the Mountain. (At 2 pounds, they do not have much "push" in them)

Goat babies are not only adorable, they are hilarious to watch.

Total of 3 baby goats now! A baby girl was born this week, still no name.
One more momma left to give birth.
I have been waiting forever for these babies to come!
