I don’t know about you, but birthdays are always a time of reflection for me. I look back on the past year and start planning for what I want the next year to look like. Thirty-seven was a year of transition.

I put my heart and soul into building A. Merisier Events and then I had Quinn!

She turned my entire life upside down! I went from being able to focus on whatever I wanted whenever I wanted to planning meetings around my pump schedule! Hiding milk at wedding venues and muting my phone when she would pop in my office to say hello during some of the most important meetings of my life!

To my clients, thank you for giving me grace and allowing me to be the best mom I can be while planning one of the most memorable days of your lives!

To my staff… I love you all BIG! My business continues to grow because of each and every one of you! You celebrate the roses and thorns of every event with me! Constantly strive to do better and in turn give me feedback so I can be better! This was my best year in business yet because I had all of you! You guys are AMAZING!!!

To my family… you have held me DOWN! Mom, my appreciation for you cannot be expressed in words and it has grown exponentially since Quinn entered our lives! I love you!

To my husband, you are my🤴🏾- your love and support is felt everyday! You have sacrificed so much so I can live out my dreams - this is seen my love! 😂

To my sister, you help me to create balance - wherever I am lacking, you fill in the gaps seamlessly! You are the best sister in the 🌎!

This age feels a bit like a milestone - am I where I want to be, of course not but finding joy in getting there is key! Find your joy, embrace it, live in it, give joy, be kind, be honest, be compassionate, and seize EVERY SINGLE DAY!

I’m feeling so many emotions as I prepare for Stephanie and D’Brickashaw’s wedding tomorrow! It has been absolute joy getting to know them!

Stephanie is just different… in all the most amazing ways! And Mr. Ferguson loves her down!!! As sad as I am that we’re almost at the finish line, I know their love will withstand the testament of time and that makes this entire experience so much more rewarding!

They moved entirely with intention for every aspect of their wedding and tomorrow we will share it all!
