Downtown Streetscape Project Construction Update | January 9, 2025
Starting Tuesday, January 14th, following the reopening of Gunsmoke Street between 3rd Avenue and 2nd Avenue, construction will shift to the next section of Gunsmoke Street between 2nd Avenue and 1st Avenue, as shown in the map below. Please note that the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Gunsmoke Street will remain closed, along with the section of 2nd Avenue between Front Street and Gunsmoke Street. With that said, sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians to access businesses.
When navigating through the construction area, please stay alert for equipment, loose or shifting soil, freshly placed concrete, tar sealant, and other potential hazards. Be mindful of your surroundings and follow all traffic control measures to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Actualización del Proyecto de Remodelación del Centro | 9 de enero de 2025
A partir del martes 14 de enero, tras la reapertura de Gunsmoke Street entre la 3ª Avenida y la 2ª Avenida, la construcción se trasladará a la siguiente sección de Gunsmoke Street, entre la 2ª Avenida y la 1ª Avenida, como se muestra en el mapa adjunto. Cabe mencionar que el cruce de la 2ª Avenida y Gunsmoke Street permanecerá cerrado, junto con la sección de la 2ª Avenida entre Front Street y Gunsmoke Street. Dicho esto, las aceras permanecerán abiertas para que los peatones puedan acceder a los negocios.
Al desplazarse por el área de construcción, manténgase alerta ante maquinaria, suelo suelto o en movimiento, concreto recién colocado, sellador de alquitrán y otros posibles peligros. Sea consciente de su entorno y siga todas las medidas de control de tráfico para garantizar su seguridad y la de los demás.
