The Georgia State Election Board chairman decided yesterday that all future meetings of the Board will be virtual. This decision was made after the last meeting ( which lasted two days and was attended by hundreds of citizens) that was held last week. The reason that was given was for the safety of the Board members. The meeting was held in Atlanta with the Georgia State Patrol acting as security. It is my belief that this decision was made because of the vast push back that has been given the board by citizens that are demanding election integrity. No matter which side you favor on this issue, I believe that these meetings should be held in person so the public can address the board with their concerns. They work for us, not the other way around. Please consider contacting your State Legislators and let them know that you believe that these meetings should be held in the open. If you live in Miller county, I will list our State Senator and Representative contact info.
