Hoy a los 180 años de la gesta de independencia y creación del emblema patrio “Dios, Patria y Libertad, República Dominicana”, un 27 de febrero de 1844 dejó una huella profunda en la identidad de los dominicanos. Esos hombres y mujeres que dieron sus vidas nos dejaron un legado más allá de lo que podemos entender. Murieron porque sus conciencias les obligaron a actuar con valores incólumes para crear una nación soberana e independiente de cualquier intervención extranjera. Una nación que construyó los cimientos de una sociedad derramando su sangre para alcanzar esos nobles ideales. 🇩🇴
