Landmark is so grateful for some Amazing Park Partners!

Special thanks to: Northside Methodist Civitian Group, and Paul Lambi for their amazing service today helping us get our new playground mulch out. This was an amazing group of young men who worked very hard.

Children from all over the Wiregrass come to our park and enjoy this area.

What's Playing in the Planetarium this week?

Week of Feb 3-9th : Worlds of Curiosity (15min)

Worlds of Curiosity dives into the questions of "What it would be like to live on an Earth with no Moon?" or "What if the Earth was tilted on its side (like Uranus)?" explore how our lives would be different on these Earths, talk about other hypothetical planets that could exist, and marvel at the even stranger worlds that astronomers have discovered beyond our solar system.

5000 Eyes Mapping the Universe with DESI (23 min)

The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) is creating the most detailed map of our nearby universe. Join us as we explore the science, instrument, and people behind this global endeavor.

These shows alternate daily.

Showtimes are daily Tuesday- Saturday, 11 am, 1 pm, 3:30 pm.
Sunday 1 pm, 3:30 pm

Cost is $4 a person and paid at the gift shop in the Interpretive Center.

Landmark Park is Buzzing with Excitement!

Our first round of Homestead Classes went so well we are opening up another Beginner Blacksmith Course.

This Course will be held on Feb 22, 2025 in our very own Blacksmith Shop. This is a make and take class, so come ready to work.
Times: 9 am-1 pm
Cost: $20 and Pre-Registration is Required

Come enjoy camping in your tent under the stars. Bring your tents, sleeping bags, chairs, bug spray and more! The LMP staff have a night of fun planned for all who attend to include horse and buggy rides, nighttime nature walk, tug a war, sack races, co****le, campfires, smores, dinner and breakfast included. While this night is geared towards Boy Scouts/ Trail Life Boys, families are welcome to attend.
Please note that all children must be accompanied by a parent or Guardian.

They will experience historical lessons, science in action, animal adventures, nature hikes, leadership activities, team building sessions, and more!
