This week in the Planetarium come see:

Week of Nov 18-24: Distant Worlds- Alien Life (52 min)
This full dome video explores the question “Are we alone?” For millennia our ancestors watched the stars, questioning the origin and nature of what they saw. Still today we ask these questions, knowing the universe is a vast place filled with many unknown things.

Einstein's-Gravity Playlist (23 min)
This video explores the ripples in space time known as gravitational waves. Albert Einstein first predicted the existence of gravitational waves in 1916, and a century later, scientists detected these waves using incredibly precise laster technology here on Earth. Explore gravity with us!

Show times: 11 am, 1 pm, 3:30 pm.

Unless booked by a Field Trip. We will post on Facebook if it is closed to the public for a trip.

Did you know we have a Redwood Tree Exhibit?

Journey through the park to the farm to the Watson Cabin. Follow the trail to the right of the cabin to discover this amazing historical timeline.

Trace the tree rings through some historical events in our nation.
Then explore the rest of the park and enjoy a picnic lunch!

Week of Nov 11-17:

Big Astronomy (27 min)
People, Places, Discoveries explores three observatories located in Chile, at extreme and remote places. It gives examples of the multitude of STEM careers needed to keep the great observatories working.

Dark Matter Mystery (38 min)
What keeps galaxies together?What are the building blocks of the Universe? What makes the Universe look the way it does? This full dome video takes you on the biggest quest of contemporary astrophysics. You will see why we know that Dark Matter exists.

Show times are 11 am, 1 pm, 3:30pm.

Note: If booked for a Field Trip we will post on Facebook the times it is closed to the public.

Cost $4 a person.

What is that you ask?
A private field trip for your class back in time so students get a hands on experience of life on the farm in 1900’s!

1 pm
3:30 pm

And again on Sunday Nov 3
At 1 pm and 3:30 pm.

Come see us this weekend for a free Preview. Pay at the gate and then make your way to the Interpretive Center.

The Planetarium holds 35 people at a time.
