Our vision is for The Douglasville Community Theater to be a vital component of the cultural life in our area.

We desire to enhance the creativity and quality of our performances, to experience growth in our membership, to expand and diversify our audiences, to increase volunteerism, to train and motivate local talent who will continue to pursue and support the theatre arts, and meet the needs of our audiences by staying in touch with the community’s desires.

Camila is a professional actor in **TV, Film & Theatre**, as well as a dancer, writer, and singer. A **Georgia State University theatre graduate**, she continues to perform and coach aspiring actors, helping them hone their craft with passion and expertise.

Learn the basics of storytelling, improvisation and character creation through improv activities. Learn the foundations of improv comedy and get feedback from a professional acting coach.

About the instructor: Camila is a professional actor in TV, Film & Theatre. She is also an accomplished dancer, writer and singer. Her love of performance took her to Georgia State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theatre performance. Camila continues to hone her craft as a professional acting coach and a performer both on stage and on camera. She has a passion for working with students and helping them achieve their acting goals.

What a fun evening. WOW Paint & Party were the perfect host for our fundraiser. The fellowship was amazing and activities rocked.

Our President Tawania C. Grangent won a gift card to Pappaduex and our Vice President Terry Miller and his sugar wooga won the Theater Trivia with a perfect score.

Most importantly, we raised some much needed funds for our little theater company.
