From International Young Chefs Inc. President’s Desk….

WHAT IS INTERNATIONAL YOUNG CHEFS?

I am glad that you asked.
I could give you the 30 second elevator pitch about International Young Chefs being a 501c3 non-profit organization. However, I would rather tell you that International Young Chefs has afforded the opportunity to cook, travel and explore to several inner city, underserved young individuals who may otherwise have had the chance. Since our inaugural Summer Culinary Experience in 2021 the International Young Chefs have had the privilege of exploring the culinary contributions of New Orleans, Hawaii and Italy.

Why is International Young Chefs important?

International Young Chefs is important because the organization allows kids to expand their knowledge and views of the world with each dish cooked, each place traveled and all places explored during travel.
International Young Chefs not only teaches a vocational skills on which they can build a career but also helps them to develop a life skill that can help them become successful adults. International Young Chefs work to ensure that kids learn about more than the neighborhood they live in and actually see some of the places that they encounter on social media.

How can you help?
Seriously??? You all are on a roll with these questions.

You can help by enrolling your kids in International Young Chefs monthly cooking classes. You can help by sharing the flyers for our classes, camps, fundraisers, and events. You can send monthly donations. You can volunteer at one of our events. You can also attend the upcoming family events (Car show, Adult cooking class, kid and parents cooking class) to help raise money for the organization.

Summary,

International Young Chefs organization work to help our youth become more self sufficient so they can help the community grow stronger.

Good afternoon Facebook Family it is with a heavy heart that I come to you….

My brother and sister-n-love lost their beautiful adopted daughter Skie last Sunday. Skie is a special needs child or child with gifts as I like to call her. Although Skie was born with medical complications, she lived a very happy life in spite her challenges.
Skie suffered a seizure and the paramedics did everything they could to save her but God made the call to bring her home. Because of her medical condition they were unable to get life insurance.

Those that truly know me, know how I feel about crowd funding for after life expenses. And if you know my brother and sister-n-love this is something they don’t do. However this is truly a circumstance beyond control. So for sweet Skie we're simply thankful for any amount that God lays on your heart to give to help get them closer to being able to do what they need to do to give this precious Angel the home-going she deserves. Again we thank you in advance for you thoughtfulness, consideration but most of all we thank you for your prayers during this trying time.

Bishop Leon Stanley and First Lady Tammy Stanley I’m thankful for your ministry Heaven Bound PFC. You are absolutely amazing people, always helping others, providing outreach opportunities to the community. Your ministry restores my faith in the church.
