What a party we had at the Backyard Bash/Outdoor Movie Night on Saturday at The Great Hall! It was a day filled with laughter, fun, and good vibes all around. From inflatables and giant lawn games to a co****le tournament, line dancing (Soul Line Dancing), face painting, and balloon animals, there was no shortage of entertainment. And let's not forget about the free water ice, soft pretzels, potato chips, beverages, and fresh popcorn that kept everyone fueled up.

The highlight of the night was the screening of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and when Sonic himself made a surprise appearance, the excitement was through the roof! A big shoutout to our amazing team (Manny, Auriana, and India) and volunteers (Summer, Trip, Kenny, SuNora, Dani, Cheyenne, Ms. Shirley, and Justina and family) who made it all possible - you guys rock!

We had the pleasure of working with a loving husband who wanted nothing but to give his wife an unforgettable 60th birthday. She asked that we not use flowers (she agreed to the few flowers on her table during her mock setup review) or go over the top with balloons.

For every event, I get my nails done to match the theme/color palette. When I met with my client for a final walkthrough, she noticed my orange nails and realized that her party was the inspiration, so she decided to do her nails in the other color style. Here's a photo of our nails at her party!

Creating a unique design for a wedding with both ceremony and reception in the same space and limited transition time truly showcased our creativity! We recently created a beautiful canopy to hide the head table and throne loveseat, ensuring the bride and groom had a special backdrop for their vows. The seamless transition between the ceremony and reception was flawless.

Let's get into the details of this party! During the consultation process, we were told that there would be absolutely no flowers, minimum candles (no tapers at all), and no black. The wife wanted royal blue and silver as her husband is a Colts fan.

Balloon ceiling decor has gained popularity as an elegant touch for various events. We utilized the balloons to delineate the dance floor area. This helium-free floating balloon arrangement added a touch of magic, transforming a blank ceiling canvas.

In this instance, the client's color preferences were white, royal blue, and silver, and she expressed greater admiration for our design compared to the one she initially provided as inspiration!

I just got off the phone with one of my brides, and I can't help but wonder why wedding guests - family and friends can be so tough on them. Planning a wedding is already stressful. I am thinking of starting a support group for all the brides and grooms out there in the planning stages. They deserve a space to vent and receive guidance.
