As I sat in church this morning, thinking how long & busy of a week I’ve had and thankful for the rest today, my customers remind me how much I LOVE what i do and those long 14-16 hour days are so worth it…
This customer was brand new to me and all I did was “help” & educate a bit on how to process & set up their flower bar. Yesterday, months later she called with a last minute request for a boutonnière & I didn’t hesitate to help.. unfortunately I was not going to be in my shop when she needed to pick up, so we arranged for porch pick up and made arrangements for her to leave cash in a specific area when I arrived home later that day and went to my shop to retrieve the funds I found the payment for the (boutonnière) and an envelope with a card , this card, this envelope.. a letter attached stating she was so sorry that she had completely forgotten to give this to me back in May when I helped her.. to tell you I was at a loss for words , that’s an understatement… I could do nothing but cry and felt so incredibly blessed to receive such a tip, such a gift, just for helping her, just for a bit of kindness I had shown her.. I still cannot express how grateful I am to her and to ALL my customers that keep me going, it’s YOU that make my business thrive!
I wanted to share this with you to show how customer service and just good ole fashioned “kindness “ can go a long way.. I ALWAYS try to give you my 100%!
Thank you everyone, we will continue our growth together’!
