Today marks 11 years since The Flower Room opened its doors. What a ride! I am so grateful to be here for every good day, every great day, every sad day and even those days when the world seems to be crashing down. Thank you for letting me share in celebrating your first dates, your first job, your first and your fiftieth anniversary. Thank you for allowing me to guide you when there have been losses, losses of people, pets, jobs and sometimes losses of hope.

Flowers are a special and novel sort of a gift that takes a moment of thought and care to get for someone. Thanks for letting me be a small piece in that.

Thank you for sharing little bits of your lives with me for the past 11 years. I appreciate all of you.

Favorite plant of the day! Calathea roseopicta ‘Princess Jessie’ Love love that contrast from the dark almost black to magenta foliage. $50 in the ceramic pot or $25 in just the plastic grow pot.

This one’s pretty easy keeper is you’re new to calatheas, and I like her nickname because it’s mine too. The number one wrong name I get called is Jessica. I’ll take it though. I have a cousin Jessica and she’s awesome, so I don’t mind the mixup! 🥰😂

Favorite plant of the day is this unique semi-rare, vining Syngonium albo. I recently potted it up to an 8” grow pot and added a moss pole for structure cause it was getting a bit unwieldy. $75 in the white woven basket or $65 with just the grow pot. I kinda want you to buy it and I kinda want no one to see this post because then I get to keep it.
