The Flower Room is a full service retail flower shop with daily deliveries to Dover and its surrounding cities. We also create beautiful custom wedding flowers, event flowers, everyday bouquets and sympathy flowers.

Wyatt wants to know “Is this real life”… and I can hear “because I got high” by playing on loop.

He’s doing great! He has no front teeth, so he’s gained 23 cute points for being one of those dogs whose tongue always sticks out.

Jailbreak! Either Wyatt is getting into bow making or he’s sick of not being able to see the door when you come in. Since he doesn’t have thumbs, I’m going with the latter. Send this guy some love going into his surgery next week.

has made it easier than ever to contribute to local book fairs so that all students can take home books regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

In the past when I’ve done, this I’ve had to jump through some hoops, but now you can go to the book fair of your choice and contribute directly. Frances G Hopkins School is this week and elementary is next week!

Opinions needed!!!

Not to scare anyone, but it’s time to prepare for the world to look like this again. That means it’s almost time to go back to winter hours here at the store.

As I still work 95% solo and sister Catherine only comes once per week to straighten me out, I will need to close mid day during the week again for deliveries during the cold months. I’d love your input on what hours you think will work best.

S**t happens, right?! These “white” alstroemerias just won’t fit the bill for the all white wedding coming up this weekend. credited me for them, so I passed them on this morning. When s**t happens, we can stand there while s**t is dumped on us from the sky and hope it stops, or we can look at the s**t as an opportunity.

For the cost of a little ribbon, some flowers sleeves, a small amount of gas and about 30 minutes of my time, we were able to bring a little happiness and care to some people in our community. I hope that very small act of kindness helped someone today.

I’m purposely not tagging the place I dropped them off, because I didn’t ask for permission to share. Do your best to be kind to yourself and to those around you. This world is heavy. I’ll keep trying too. The aim is to get it right more often than not. Love you all.
