350 junior, annual, and life members.

We are a non-profit organization and raise the money needed to maintain and
run the club through weekly Sunday morning breakfasts, fall fish fries,
3-D Archery course, pistol and rifle range, trap range and special fund raisers. These events are all worked by volunteer members and friends. This
enables the club to keep the cost of membership dues lower than most area clubs.

DOWAGIAC CONSERVATION CLUB CALCUTTA BEING HELD AT COLOMA ROD AND GUN CLUB
Friday June 21st Dowagiac Conservation Club will be having our monthly Calcutta. Due to a scheduling conflict at Dowagiac Conservation Club, this month's Calcutta program will be held at the COLOMA ROD AND GUN CLUB 6145 Angling RD Coloma MI 49038. Pick your partner protections starting at 6pm. Sign-up for Calcutta program before 7:30pm. Calcutta program 50 target draw, 18 yard standard trap and 22 yard wobble trap. Food will be available for a donation. Hope to see everyone there.

WEEK IN REVIEW!

Adult/youth Red Ryder BB Gun night:
Adam and his team set up some pretty fun games. Accuracy, speed, etc. (come check it out this coming Tuesday..)

Fish fry:
Largest fish fry in club history. 235 meals in 2.5 hours. We need a bigger fryer! Haha. Huge thx to all our volunteers and everyone that came to enjoy the meals. Thx for your patience!!!

Friday night trap:
Good turnout. Both old and new shooters.
1st place team: Steve VV and Tim

Lewis class winner: Nathaniel and Tyler

Meat shoot:
Good turnout! Threw 1100 targets. Gave away a lot of prizes. Had a great time! Thx to all who came and big thank you to the volunteers especially Gene Stockwell, Olivia Stockwell and Hunter Stienman for helping with cashiering and scoring!

Steel Shoot test and tune:
Good turnout. Cold but fun! Gave everyone a chance to knock the dust off equipment and make sure our timers and processes are ready to roll! Thx to all the volunteers and shooters that came. Keep an eye out for next months shoot!

Our Story

Established in 1947, Dowagiac Conservation Club today has over 300 annual, life and junior members.

DCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving our youth and community by promoting outdoor sports, safety, understanding and conservation of natural resources.

Funds to maintain our club and support our mission are raised through membership dues and volunteer driven events like Sunday breakfast buffets, all-you-can-eat fish fries, trap shoots, 3-D archery, rim fire shoots, and special events like the Wild Game Dinner, Gun Show and Hunters Rendezvous. These efforts allow us to keep our membership dues very reasonable compared to other area clubs.
