Beauty for ashes
Seated in front of an old wedding dress I thought to myself; ‘What a shame that people throw and give wedding dresses away. What if there was a place to offer them to new brides for new life and new joy?’ For me, giving that which I saw as my life . Has changed my life . The willingness to “ let go of the ashes.” Accept the beauty of surrendering those ideas and what I thought would be.
The remarkable belief that those very things we surrender in order to bless another, rebound in our own lives and provide healing and peace. But we must be willing to give up the ashes.
It is our hope that women will donate gowns to Blessing Brides Ministry a non profit organization; and become part of this experience of healing for themselves and others .
