A Heartfelt Thank You & New Beginnings
After 40 incredible years in business, it’s time for me to say goodbye to a career that has been more than just work—it’s been a true labor of love. To our loyal customers, thank you for being part of this beautiful journey. Owning a business isn't always easy, and we’ve had our share of ups and downs. But through it all, your unwavering support and that of our small business neighbors made everything worthwhile.
Over the years, we’ve had the honor of being a part of so many special moments: births, marriages, recitals, school dances, graduations, and offering comfort during times of loss. My business has always been a family affair, and some of my fondest memories are of my children, their friends, and other family members taking part in the day-to-day. Our shop became a hub, filled with the in-and-out flow of visitors and friends, and those connections made our work so joyful.
After a devastating flood and facing some recent health challenges, I didn’t think I had much left to give. But it was harder to quit a life I knew for so long. However, after a recent health-related accident, I’ve decided to retire and focus on recovery. This decision comes with a heavy heart, but I’m also excited for what’s to come.
I’m incredibly happy to announce that my business will be transitioning to another local family florist, Blossom Boutique Florist & Flower Delivery. Shannon and the Blossom Boutique family have been a source of support during my recovery. She has treated my customers with the same care and dedication that I have for the past 40 years, and I know you will love working with her as your new family florist.
While I’ll be stepping away to concentrate on my health, I can’t stay away from this industry for long! Once I’m healed, I hope to be back in some capacity—helping out and continuing to share in the joy that flowers bring to life’s important moments.
Shannon, thank you for carrying on the legacy. To my customers, thank you for trusting us with your special memories. Here's to the next chapter!
With love and gratitude,
Judy
