Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12, and you probably have plans for the special mom in your life.
But just in case you haven’t thought that far ahead, several of Dracut’s fine establishments are having Mother’s Day brunches if that’s something your special mom would enjoy. It goes without saying that you really should make a reservation – and fast!
Of course, any of Dracut’s restaurants would be a fine place. These are simply the restaurants that are featuring a special menu for the day.
Grazie Italian Restaurant, 80 Meadow Creek Drive: Grazie at Four Oaks Country Club is offering a brunch buffet from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., featuring breakfast favorites (scrambled eggs, cinnamon brioche French toast, waffle and omelet stations) and lunch items (prime-rib and baked-ham carving stations), in addition to desserts and a Bloody Mary Bar. Cost is $59.95 for adults and $24.95 for under 12. Call 978-455-0054, ext. 2.
Lenzi's, 810 Merrimack Avenue: Lenzi’s buffet runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Start with breakfast, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, pastries, fruit salad, corned-beef hash and quiches, then go back for lunch, featuring salads, chicken pot pie, mac and cheese, baked haddock, eggplant parmesan, steak tips, whipped potatoes and rice Florentine. Cap it all off with a chocolate fountain, apple and blueberry pies, chocolate layer cake and strawberry shortcake. Cost is $49.95 for adults and $23.95 for 12 and under. Call 458-2323.
The Sandbar Beach Club & Grill (39 Elm Street, Tyngsborough line): Sandbar has a set menu, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including starters, breakfast dishes (including eggs Benedict, a veggie omelet, steak and eggs and more), salads (strawberry and cobb) and sandwiches (burger and chicken salad. The Village Inn, 544 Broadway Road: Dracut’s oldest restaurant has a buffet with seatings at noon, 2:30 and 5 p.m., with emphasis on lunch and dinner entrees. There will be appetizers (steak-and-cheese eggrolls, shrimp cocktail, toasted ravioli, chicken tenders), then the dinner specials (ham, prime rib, steak tips, lobster roll, baked haddock), traditional sides and a dessert station if you still have room. Chicken fingers and mac and cheese for the kids. Cost is $54.99 for adults, $19.99 for kids 12 and under. Call 978-459-4114.
