The founder, April McLaughlin, a 5th generation Texan, recognized the beauty of the Hill Country long ago and decided it had to be shared. After spending almost 10 years looking for just the right spot, we were finally divinely guided to what has become known as Cricket Hill Ranch or ‘ The Hill ‘ for short. e you to our home, Cricket Hill Ranch. We know you’ll feel the sweet spirit of this special place in Texas and will want to begin your life together here. Once you pass through the 22-foot custom gate, you’ll immediately see why Cricket Hill Ranch is indeed a very special place. Designed specifically for weddings, it offers amenities you won’t find anywhere else in South Texas. We like to say we cater to couples because we have something special for the bride AND groom.
• The Bride’s Room is luxurious with a gorgeous full bath, huge closet and three additional vanities for your attendants to use. The Private Terrace off the Bride’s Room is a great place to relax and grab some fresh air while you prepare.
• For the groom, we have a Private Suite, a Terrace, and gave him the added bonus of the Game Room. The Game Room is complete with pool table and TVs to help him compose himself on the biggest day of his life.
• We are not wedding planners; we don’t cater food or design wedding flowers. We are here simply to provide you a beautiful, peaceful, stress-free environment for your special event.

Our gorgeous property includes a newly built house and a beautifully landscaped lawn, as well as more intimate spaces like our outdoor patio and terrace. We love Greek life and hosting sorority and fraternity formals. And weddings always seem to get a little bit dreamier on our acreage. No matter the occasion, we focus on giving you and your guests a stress-free environment and a place that feels like your own. Our packages always include a professional event coordinator, someone with stays with you during the process from the moment you contract us until after your celebration has come to an end.
