I don’t often toot my own horn, but… beep beep!!
I can’t even tell you how proud of myself that I got this done!!!

I wanted to do this last Christmas, but didn’t have time and this summer, I wanted to plant flowers in this planter, but it just didn’t happen. And honestly, that’s okay. Sometimes, things fall through the cracks when I’m focused on what really matters—the work that needs to get done right now, or the “fires” that need to be put out first.

There are days I show up at the shop at 6 AM in my pajamas, rush home to change, or come back after hours to get things finished up. Weekends are no different—whether it's funeral arrangements or picking up supplies, I’m always running around to make sure everything is in place.

And let’s be real—some days, I’m so busy I skip lunch entirely just run home to check on Ike and eat in bits and pieces while I’m working. I might bring lunch back, but it’ll take me an hour to eat it because I’m constantly in motion.

I finished this planter over a week ago and meant to post it right away… but life got in the way! That’s how it goes when you're doing what you love.

In less than 2 months, I’ll be celebrating 2 years of starting this flower shop! And in January, I’ll mark 19 years in the floral industry. It's been my dream for so long to have my own shop, and here I am—living that dream!

The moral of the story: I feel incredibly blessed that I’m so busy. Even when things slip through the cracks, it’s a reminder that I’m doing what I love, and God has truly been SO good to me!!!
