Hi all, in preparation for Giving Tuesday I wanted to share something a friend of mine who worked with a tortoise rescue shared.

When giving your hard earned money PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you are not transferring your money from your bank account to a rich CEO or VP’s bank account. It makes me absolutely sick to see that the ASPCA an organization supposedly in place to help animals is mostly helping the two legged animals living in mansions at just a quick glance it looks like they pay about $5,500,000.00 in EXECUTIVE SALARIES.

Choose your charities carefully. With the exception of St. Jude’s, I only donate to small nonprofits that actually put most of the funds into the missions and projects they support.

While my family no longer runs Become One VOICE, Inc., I’ll be putting my Giving Tuesday Funds there. Please join me is providing funds that really go towards wildlife preservation and conservation, rescues, etc. I’ll be sharing a GIVING TUESDAY link very soon.

Good AFTERNOON Everyone,

As many of you already know it has been a long time since we have done any major charitable events such as CONEX or Wildlife Adventures due to the many changes that have taken place in our team members lives. I, personally have lost both parents, Larry and Helen Smith, our entire team suffered the loss of Joshua Charles Peckham, and in general we ALL encountered many significant struggles during COVID times. We maintained the scholarships through the Covid-19 pandemic, but that was the extent of what we were able to do.

With that in mind, the original founders of Become One VOICE, Inc. have made the decision to pass the baton of our beloved non-profit to someone we believe very capable of sustaining the good work we have begun. Without further ado, I would like to announce Brandi Blue, owner of Safari Encounters, as the new CEO of Become One VOICE, Inc. We passed the baton in July of 2023 officially. Please offer Brandi a warm welcome as she and her new Board of Directors leads Become One Voice, Inc. through the remainder of 2023, into 2024 and beyond!

Rachel, Morgan, Zion and I are very excited to see where she takes this organization. Here's to a warm welcome Brandi Blue.
