As an extended size girlie myself, I know how defeating it is to go dress shopping and the dresses you’re interested in are too small. Consultants will often tell you to try and “picture it” in your size. Pardon my French, but F that! 🤬
Brides of all sizes deserve to have plentiful options that fit or need to be clipped down! This is why we carry straight size, midsize, plus size, and extended size! No one is left behind or made to feel discouraged! We have your back, no matter your size! 🩷

All of our dresses are private label! But what does that mean? 🤔 This means are gowns are not part of a major designer collection, but instead a private company!
Let’s get one thing straight! Private label DOES NOT mean poor or lacking in quality! Our dresses quality and design is comparable to any major designer (and sometimes even better 😉)!
All it means is you’re not PAYING for a designer name for private label! With major designers, you’re paying for the name, not necessarily the quality of the dress!
These major designers launch major advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google, Pinterest, etc in hopes you’ll fall in love with a dress and look for the store closest to you! But that advertising comes with a price tag! Essentially, their advertising cost and brand recognition is built into the price of the dress! 🤯
With private label, the label is just the designer and manufacturer! All advertising is done by each individual store! We have to take our own photos, make our own brand, and advertise on our own! But this means that we are able to provide quality dresses for a fraction of the cost of a major designer! 😍
However, not all private labels are created the same! We are extremely lucky to work with the labels we do as they provide quality, ethically made gowns and designs at reasonable prices; we work with only the best! 🙌🏼
This is how we can keep our dresses in that under $2,000 price point and we’re so happy to be able to offer that to brides! 🩷

Such an amazing appointment!! 🩷 Rachel had a dress on her mind when she came in, but as soon as she tried the first dress on, it was a whole different ball game!
She loved the first dress, BUT there was one she loved even more!! 😍 The whole group was in awe at how stunning Rachel was in it! It’s seriously the perfect dress for her wedding!

The perfect dress!! 🤍 Halie came to see us yesterday, but she was torn between two dresses! Sometimes, you just gotta sleep on it! She kept looking at pictures, but needed to come back to try on the two dresses one more time!
After coming back tonight and putting both back on, she knew which dress to choose! Her dress is so stunning on her and is just as unique as she is! 😊

It’s all in the family! 🩷 This wasn’t Paige’s first time at the shop! She came when her sister found her dress and knew this was where she wanted to find her dress!
We tried on a variety of styles, but Paige quickly narrowed down what she loved the most; a style she wasn’t expecting to love as much as she did! 💕 Paige in her dress… SENSATIONAL!! 🙌🏼

It’s a YES!! ✨ Nicole looked fab in everything she tried on, even ones that she was pleasantly surprised by! But there was one that just made her light up as soon as she put it on! 🤩
She tried some more on, but nothing compared to that one dress! 🤍 She put it back on and happily said yes to the dress!

Vintage Chic is the only bridal shop in the Dubuque and tri-state area that focuses exclusively on the bride. Offering an expansive selection of bridal gowns, veils, and accessories, we have everything a bride needs to make her bridal look complete.
But what else makes us different? We are 100% by appointment only. This means that you and your bride tribe have the store completely to yourself. No interruption, no distractions, and no feeling lost in the crowd.
If all of that isn't enough, we also offer both an orderable bridal gown selection and a plethora of wedding dresses that are off the rack.
But what does off the rack mean? Great question! We offer gowns from bridal size 8 to a size 28 that are designer gowns but are a fraction of the cost of other shops. We get gowns from various bridal shops from across the United States that are discontinued from major bridal manufacturers. These gowns are first come, first served and once they're gone, they're gone! There's only one size, one color, and an amazing price! These gowns have the designer label without the designer price tag.
