Every season, you wait for different blooms… April brings my sweet Fritillaria. It has the sway of a hardy tulip, the color of rich earth, and vase longevity. It is a conversation bloom when, at a dinner party, you run out of small talk and chat about the pretty flower arrangement.

Today I work on a mock-up for a larger-scale summer wedding. The selection of specialty blooms sourced for this afternoon might not be available for August.
