Make sure that you don't get caught off guard....Look, it's Minnesota, it's the North Shore, of course we want our ceremony outside! Right!? Right
That being said, do you have a contingency plan? A back up plan? A plan to turn to if Lake Superior decides to bless your wedding day with a little extra precipitation?
Here's some quick tips on what to do to prepare for an outdoor wedding if the weather ends up taking a turn:
Have umbrellas at the ready (clear umbrellas are a great vibey choice!
A buffer in time (meaning if you need to switch to moving indoors, you've got some built in time)
A second location at the venue (covered or indoors completely)
Inform the family and wedding party on what to do if we need to make changes to the timeline or locations
Don't let it get you down, weather happens, but it doesn't mean it needs to ruin your day. Stay positive and celebrate your love together.
