Belly Dance with Banat Ahad

Beginner Belly Dance Classes Sundays 4:00-5:00 and Mondays 7:30-8:30 $15 For any age, height, or weight, it's a great way to stretch and tone Egyptian style.

Beginner classes are an introduction to the basic movements of belly dance, with emphasis on technique, combination steps, identifying and dancing to the various Middle Eastern rhythms, finger cymbals (zills), and short dance routines. No previous dance training is required. Proper attire for class is comfortable exercise clothing.

What to expect
It’s time for Fun With Flashcards with some layering thrown in! Layering is so much more than just throwing a shimmy on top of another movement. We’ll draw some flashcards, go through each step, and then figure out how many layered movements we can make.

This month only, the workshop is on SUNDAY instead of our usual Saturday.

CLASS TIME IN YOUR TIME ZONE: 11 AM - 1 PM Atlanta time, 10 AM - noon Chicago time

If you’re in Atlanta, you can join the Thursday Seshambeh dance group in 3D. If you’re outside Atlanta, you can join us on Zoom.
Only $12 for a 2-hour workshop! You can Paypal me choosing SENDING TO A FRIEND at [email protected]. (I am always happy for advance payment, hint hint.) Doesn’t get any easier than that!
