Made it to the Junk Hunt yesterday 🏵️
Love to see something come full circle with repurpose...
this old sign was the start to finding our dream property and then we sold it to the Junk Hunt crew.

At the time we had zero attachments to it , but looking back at a couple of pictures I had saved made it feel special. 😇
Pretty cool how small things can lead to big things.

So excited to finally be able to post about this. 😁

2 weeks ago today we had a rare opportunity to host the USA Olympic Curling team here as they did a digital marketing photo shoot for Jack Link’s Jerky company on our pond with their infamous sasquatch.
The experience itself was so neat to see it come together but even more memorable was the courteous kindness of Team Shuster & the Fallon advertising agency crew.

We have some personal behind the scenes shots, we were respectfully asked NOT to post but these are the approved captures we can.

As always, we continue to feel so blessed to have this land in our lives & be able to keep making great memories here on Amity Creek Meadow.

Better late than never ?!? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Last year's Pond Curling tourney / fundraiser to raise money for the Junior Curlers Traveling Team .
Such a great event & memory. 🥌❤️

GIANT Thanks to everyone that chipped in but especially to Jeremy & Emily Zeman , Tom Zeman, Steve & Barb Payette for busting their butts doing weeks of ice prep / snow removal with us, rounding up donations, planning, advertising, coordinating etc.
You guys are truly amazing!

Excited to be a part of the Woodland community. ❤️
I have a cool idea for a multi-person sale in our parking lot. Farmers goods & kids lemonade stands are welcome too 😍

Curious if anyone would be interested; going in on a tent through Doucettes & biffie from Brent's - if there are enough to make it cost effective.
We wanted to put it out there for others who may be in an apartment or don't have the options for a sale at their location.
Just throwing ideas around on a snowy day ❄️

We would like to take a moment to send our deepest condolences to the Godden family during this time of loss. Their patriarch Dave Gooden has ascended into heaven to be with the Lord.
Although I never had the opportunity to meet Dave, I know that he poured his heart & soul into every inch of our properties. Together, him & his wife Joetta & their 2 boys worked the property from years of sodding and landscaping to a beautiful 9 hole course & driving range.
They built the house that we now have as a rental from the ground up for their family, even using cedar timber from the land and leaving name / date stamps in the concrete. ❤️
They sold 85% of the property in the early 2000's after the tragic loss of their son Jeremy & as of 2021 became our neighbors by coming back to the portion they kept / managed rentals on all those years.

I didn't need to meet Dave to know his hard working dreams & heart. We have brought life back to the walls he built and ran our hands through the grass in the fields he spent a majority of his life in.

Right now all of our prayers will be with Joetta, Brian and their family's grieving hearts 😇
Dave will forever be a huge part of this land & it's story.🌱⛳🙌

UPDATE:
With another spring / summer starting & continued COVID inconsistencies we have decided to take the opportunity to do some big property changes. We are hoping to sell our rental property(across the street), do a much needed road-front fence & privacy gate, build our forever home and a large garage.
Not sure , what we will be able to pull off physically or financially in that time frame but we will not be scheduling any weddings or giving any info out until we have a firm plan moving forward 💜
