Pam informed me that she wasn’t quite sure what info I needed, as she has never done this before. I told her just to decribe her husband and tell me any detail about their life together. What made him so special to you? We talked on the phone almost 30 minutes and this Is what I interpreted🥹

Attached are my “rough” notes. It’s hard to write fast as Mrs Pam was giving me the info and I didn’t want to miss one single detail about their life together!!

Here is the symbolism in this particular arrangement:

1 blue bird over looking his entire family (Tracy in heaven now)

The bronze colored bird to represent Mrs Pam

8 copper lotus pods to represent the 8 grandchildren

4 gold lotus pods to represent their 4 children

The fishing pole, lures, and flys to represent his love of fishing

The Bible to represent his love for Christ and the scripture “go into all the nations and preach the gospel” to represent his life as a missionary. I called Pam to ask if it was ok to highlight this scripture and she told me that she felt like the Holy Spirit is leading me in the direction I am supposed to go. I told her that I truly believe this is a God given gift, and I use it to glorify him, not myself!!

A small white flower to represent a dandelion—as they had an organization called “Dandelion Kids” which provided gospel tracks to remote areas in Alaska

The tiny blue flowers are to represent the Alaska state flower” forget me nots”

I have never created a more “custom and symbolic” arrangement in my career and this is one I am SO very proud to share with the world now.

Truly, what an honor it was to create this arrangement to reprent a life so beautifully lived💙
