We’ve been taking on less and less events these past years (since the post covid craze that was 2021 & 2022) and it’s been wonderful to be able to minimize, streamline and focus on our select couples and a reduced amount of events. 2025 is going to feel even more bespoke with what’s in the works. We’re so excited to be in LA, Aspen, Telluride, Dunton, and New Mexico and of course our homeland of Durango and the San Juan Mountains.

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday season. I’ll be lingering in this custom crimson fabric wallpapered room for some time, which served as the perfect bridal space for final touch ups… while we waited out some epic summer mountain weather!

As this year comes to a close, I’m starting to look back and take stock of all our wonderful couples and getting to witness and support some sweet tender love, cherished memories and stunning beauty… starting with C&D’s summer wedding. It was such a beautiful intimate weekend of relaxing, fun and personalized festive events bringing family and friends together in the mountains to celebrate all that is genuine and important.

As avid adventurers, L&S wanted to share their love for the mountains with their family and friends - so they jeeped everyone into the rugged back country of the San Juan Mountains and Eureka Lodge in Silverton, Colorado for some true natural enchantment.

Why travel to Switzerland when you have Eureka Lodge, an old mining lodge turned mountain chalét perched on the mountainside up above Silverton, Colorado. The historic mining lodge still tells a lot of its original story and provides an epic backdrop with wild panoramic landscape of the San Juan Mountains - especially during golden hour Alpenglow.

There were moments of everything at L&A’s celebration… quiet solitude, a river running through it, bird song, breeze through the trees and of course laughter and joy. There was jubilant clapping, crying - all forms of celebration as it should be. There was the sound of the Persian Sofreh ceremony rubbing of sugar cones blessing them, the words of Mary Oliver spoken celebrating all the beautiful complexity of loving and living. There was so much joy, elation and embracing all that is of coming together and joining families and histories. And then there was very much a raucous dance party and Persian throw down on the dance floor.

It was a true honor to be a part of it all and witness this beauty, this humbling magic of genuine love.
