| HAIR TRIAL EVENT | Join us Thursday May 12th from 4-7pm. The very talented Jamie from Jamie.does.hair teaches us how to create three different hair styles. You are welcome to take photos and videos of the processes to recreate for yourself or a friend.

You don’t have to be a bride to attend this event. If you have a special occasion coming up or what to create cool hair-dos to wear everyday this event is for you.

Jamie will incorporate head pieces and hair accessories into the hair styles. Guest are welcome to try on veils, headpiece and hair accessories. All accessories purchases made during the event will be 20% off.

Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

Tickets are $35 per person

TUXEDO TALK or things you should know about tuxedo rentals

🕺🏻We carry a company called Jim’s Formal Wear. They allow us to offer rent or buy options for tuxedos in our store.(Fun Fact: JFW has a monopoly on the west cost. Meaning all other bridal salons in the area also carry them.)

🕺🏻How renting a tuxedo works. We ask you to schedule an appointment. During which we will talk to you about the look you are wanting for your wedding day or special occasion such as prom, awards ceremony, graduation, etc. We will show you the available options and help guide you to your desired silhouette.

🕺🏻Measurements to rent or buy are a must. We prefer to take the measurement at our store so we can get the most accurate fit. Or that you get your measurement from a trusted tailor. Please doesn’t take the measurement yourself or have your spouse take them. Measurements seem simple but can easily be taken inaccurately.

🕺🏻Just like a wedding dress you will need to give yourself time for the tuxedo to come in if you choose to purchase so it can be taken to the tailor for alterations.

🕺🏻You should get your rental orders as soon as possible. Because JFW only carries so much inventory per style. If you wait until the week or even the month of the event you are risking not having the style you want or them no longer having the size you need for your event date.

🕺🏻Tuxedo rentals are booked out faster for April and May due to proms all over the nation taking place.

🕺🏻A tuxedo rental ranges in cost from $200- $265. Your rental will come in the week of the event for you to pick up and try on.

🕺🏻The perk to renting is the damage waver that covers accident that may cause damage to the suit. The perk to buying is that the tuxedo is yours and can be altered to fit you perfectly.

We allow guest to bring in snacks and alcohol during their appointments. Because who doesn’t want to snack and drink while they shop?

There is also a corner store across the way from us here in Three Springs that has a large selection of beer and wine. We strongly encourage you to stop in to take a look at their selection before an appointment with us or during the appointment while the bride is in between changing dresses.

I realize we don’t shop for our wedding dresses like we do the other clothing hanging in our closet. I also realize that how wedding dress shopping works is not common knowledge nor would I expect to to be. I mean how often do we actually pick a wedding dress?

Our boutique has tags attached to the gown with the cost of the dress on it. We will always ask you to let us know if you are not comfortable with the cost before putting the dress on you. Because once you fall in love with a gown it is sooo hard to come back to the budget you have set. ✨ Our new order gowns range from $1,000-$2,200.
