Happy with 🧁My husband and I are so excited to support this local small business who has just opened their NEW location on Westgate Road in Raleigh, NC. Last year, when planning our Fall wedding, we knew we wanted to include something special and delicious for our guests. We decided to order mini cheesecakes from this amazing shop and boy, were they a hit! We got sweet potato, Oreo, and red velvet cheesecake and everyone loved them! These cold and rainy days make me miss the Spring wedding season! ☀️ The Nelson wedding was a dreamy fairytale full of color, spring florals, and love. The bride and groom was here for all the enchanted vibes and we worked closely with this amazing group of vendors to bring their vision to life. Last month we celebrated the union of Ashley and Ravelle Smith at in Raleigh. It was literally the perfect Sunday wedding! The bride chose a beautiful color palette of mauve, blush pink, lavender hues, bright orange, and gold accents, we called it "Mauve May". Asking your girls to be your bridesmaid is a BIG deal, it's only right that you ask them in a very special way! I had a lot of fun creating proposal boxes and wanted to share some tips and suggestions for newly engaged couples who are about to POP the question to their future wedding party! 🍾💍

📦The dimensions of your box should be determined by the amount of gifts you plan to purchase and the size of the largest gift in your box (mine were a little too small for my cards, but we made it werk chile!)

🤔💭Think cute, but practical. What do your girls like? What would they use?

🛍Where to shop - and

Personalize it! You have history with each of your bridesmaids, make them feel special and one of a kind by personalizing their gifts with their name or a photo of you both together. 👯‍♀️

💰Budget - I spent a little over $400.00 on my boxes (including shipping), which is the least I can do for my "I DO" crew, if your budget allows you to throw in some luxury items, then by means ball out on your girls - they deserve it!

It will always be the vendors for me! It takes an energetic and creative team who thinks on their feet and works hard every day (and weekend) to bring your vision to life.

This is some of the team that we had the pleasure of working with for the Johnson Wedding this past April. Every detail matters from makeup, signage, florals, coordination, and the music that sets the tone for your ceremony and reception.

Cup of Tea Events responsibilities include:

✔️set up of table settings
✔️creating a smooth schedule and flow of events
✔️serving as the point of contact for vendors
✔️coordinating food service (which includes making sure you eat)
✔️managing party favors

I haven’t had this feeling in over a year! Waking up at 2:30am going over details in my head, sending emails day and night, revising timelines and checking in with vendors. Yes! Wedding season is here with a major comeback 💍🎉🎂 Oh how I missed this feeling of preparing for live events.

In just 2 short days we will be back at it again for the Johnson Wedding. It has been a pleasure serving for Ashley and Thomas to bring their vision of their wedding to life. We are on the countdown and looking forward to ❤️ with an amazing team of vendors!
