Happy One year anniversary to Liz & Chance! I loved designing your **mostly greens** intimate New Year’s Eve Wedding flowers last winter.

Happy Holidays to all those who know that while food nourishes the body, flowers nourish the Spirit. ✨ 💐

I’m getting a little weepy over here looking at all the images I snapped this season of my Subaru full of buckets of freshly harvested flowers coming out of the field and then all the crates full of bouquets going out to market. When you’re in the go-go-go of the thick of the season it’s hard to see it all. I’m so proud of the volume, variety, textures and colors I grew this year, and really grateful for how supportive growing conditions ultimately were for me on my little rented plot on a hill in Dummerston. Thank you to everyone who participated in my CSA, ordered bouquets or arrangements, had me design their wedding, elopement, memorial, or bar mitzvah flowers, picked up bunches from my ladder stand on Route 5, or came out to the this Summer, it means so much to me that I got to share my love with you in the form of flowers. 🥰

Throwing out something a little off my usual marketing but on brand with this time of year if we’re thinking about family and what really matters. Here is my Dad- 72 (?) and still the perpetual gardener. You could say I got my appreciation for plants, flowers, and tending to their needs from my Dad. I will always miss the sprawling gardens he created and maintained surrounding our home in NH but I’m thoroughly impressed with what he’s done with limited space and a short period of time at my parents new home in Florida. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as they say, and this tree is robust. Thanks for all the lessons, Dad.

Beautiful drive North today to the and their incorporated restaurant . This newly renovated boutique inn is filled with gorgeous antique furniture, artwork high end touches, endless charm and obviously lots of wine. It’s also nearly Nextdoor to the original !

Last of the last. Unreal blissful warmth and sunshine today, and what a turn out at the last Putney Summer Farmer’s Market! A heartfelt thank you to all for making me sell out today and for showing your support all season long. I appreciate you!

Hellebores and more for a garden inspired Memorial service. This has turned out to be such a gorgeous Fall day in Vermont and I’m so happy for the family and friends that get to be together today to remember a special person.

Alas, the frost has come.

It’s time for me to call it! It’s the end for my farm grown fresh flowers!! I’ll have dried flowers at the last this Sunday and will be sourcing flowers for your needs from here on out.

Under threat of frost last night I harvested two final buckets of blooms from the field and spent some time walking around with my camera, thanking the field for all it has given me these last two years and reflecting on all that I have sacrificed to it. I envy the plants for the way they seem to let go so easily. I am weary and ready to tuck everything in but the change is still so bittersweet.

Fear not! My business transition to being more events focused means that I am still operating as a full service florist but will be working with a design minimum of $150 and a suggested lead time of at least three days. This means I won’t be taking small one-off bouquet or arrangement orders anymore. Please reach out if you have any requests or questions while I work out the kinks!
