Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Fort Worth, TX to shoot a Branding Session with my once-mentee-now-turned-dear-friend, Stephanie of Stephanie Rubyor Photography.

What is a Branding Session you ask?

A Branding Session goes wayyyy beyond a headshot. It does a deep-dive into not just what the entrepreneur looks like, but what their business FEELS like. It's a photography session to help showcase who the entrepreneur is; what their business is about, what they offer, and what it feels like to work with them.

Think about it this way . . . clients want to know WHO they are hiring. As photographers, it's obvious what we produce. Our images are plastered all over our social media pages and websites. But . . . the WHO is often the missing piece of information because we rarely post about ourselves.

OK, business owners. I'm talking to you now:
Clients want to know who you are, what you do, and how you run your business. Humans are curious creatures. Let people into your world. By having images of YOU in your element, you're opening up your clients and loyal followers to building a relationship where they feel connected to you. People are more likely to invest with someone they know more about. The more they know, the more they like, and the more they trust what/who they are investing in.

These sessions aren't just for photographers. They are for business owners as a whole. Especially if you offer a service and especially if you need CONTENT that will help you showcase who you are and what you offer: Realtors, beauty/selfcare businesses, artists and creators of all kinds, chefs/bakers, writers, personal shoppers, health and wellness businesses . . . the list goes on and on.
