Happy Birthday to all the January Babies! Your Birth flowers are the Carnation and the Snow Drop! The carnation has many meanings depending on the color carnation given, Light Red signifies Admiration while Dark Red can mean Deep Love. White signifies Innocence, Pure Love, and Remembrance. Pink signifies Affection, and A Mother’s Love. Purple signifies Capriciousness. Yellow signifies Disappointment, and Rejection. Striped (any color) can signify Regret. The Snow Drop Flower is used to express both sympathy and celebration. During happy times, they are thought to provide optimism and hope, but following a death or misfortune, they symbolize compassion. Innocence is also linked to the snowdrop because of its color.

Downtown is the place to be Saturday. Lots of activities for all and a festive parade and tree lighting event to finish it off.

We have a great exhibition of local art that would make excellent Christmas gifts from 1 to 6 on Saturday. We thank Sheri Liebschner for all of her work for the arts in East Liverpool and for assembling this very talented group of artists.
