The wait is over- our Mad Science and Crayola Imagine Arts Academy summer camp registrations are now open! We have an exciting lineup of STEAM-related camp themes to choose from that spark critical and creative thinking. 🚀 🎨

We are offering a full-day camp option at each location* that is doing morning and afternoon camps. During the AM/PM intermission we will be hosting lunch** for children attending both the morning and afternoon camps for an additional $50.

Wednesday, April 17th, we will be at the Lindenhurst Public Library for two fun events!
🧪 Our Mad Science Pre-K Mad Mixtures workshop will be at 10 AM. This is a fun introduction to chemistry and chemical reactions for our preschool-aged scientists.
🖍 Our Crayola Imagine Arts Academy Creative Kids workshop will be at 4:30 PM. This workshop allows children to create their own works of art inspired by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and causes they are passionate about.

Registration for both of these workshops opens on April 3rd at 9 AM. These programs are available to Lindenhurst Memorial Library cardholders only.

Did you know about our Schoolhouse Chess program? We dive into the world of chess with fun characters through beginner, intermediate, and advanced programs for children of all ages (K-14). We go over the very basics of how to play chess and gradually move into advanced techniques with step-by-step presentations and time for individual support. Every child receives a magazine with the Schoolhouse Chess characters and storyline, as well as a mini magnetic chess set!

Looking for an exciting enrichment program for your little ones? We have space available for our Saturday Programs at Michael J. Tully Park in North Hempstead! We are offering both our Mad Science and Crayola Imagine Arts Academy programs, running on the same dates at different times for those interested in both. Starting January 13th, the programs run for 6 weeks and end February 17th.

Children in grades 1-5 can learn about and create art inspired by artists who changed the world with ArtBlazers! This program will take place from 11:30AM to 12:30PM on 1/21, 28, 2/4, 11, 3/4, 11.

This past Saturday, October 1st , Mad Science hosted an awesome virtual event with special guest Dr. Quyen Hart! Almost 300 children were in attendance.
