Words from the Prez!
Hello dancers, Just a few words as I get ready for some football today.
Great crowd last Friday. 21 energetic people, a nice number. We may be throwing a few Irish dances at you on Tuesday nights, getting ready for St. Patrick's Day Dance March 14th. I mentioned using the black table clothes for the 5th Friday dance, I would encourage you to wear black or bright colors!
Thanks for all your support. Lastly, keep on bringing your unneeded egg cartons, they are appreciated.

Hello to all. What a fantastic party! And a few faces we haven't seen for a while.

A big thank you to all helping with every facet of having a party. It is impossible to mention everyone's name, you are appreciated. All did a great job of making it till 10pm and then helping as they did.

A special thank you to Rich and Betty for their help. Denise did a bang up job, as usual. And thank you to Ed for getting her there. The twist contest and the stroll had a nice touch also.

Hope all had a great time, but need a little more dancing this Friday, the 3rd, as we will gather again for the club meeting at 6:45 and a dance to follow. The tunes we missed might get played!!

Here are the dance opportunities for this week & December MVCDA membership meeting minutes.

Tuesday, December 31, 2024 - NEW YEAR'S EVE
6 pm - Dinner
7 pm - Dancing
10 pm - Ring in the New Year "2025"

New Year's Eve has been set.
Dinner at 6, music to follow with celebration countdown at 10pm.

Dave & Nancy will provide a cake to celebrate their 50th anniversary 12/28 and Dave's birthday 1/1/25!

Members are welcome to bring a pre-dinner item or dessert,

Ed & Denise will be providing bubbly to ring in the new year!
Please feel free to BYOB.
Non alcoholic beverages will be available..

This year the theme for NYE is Rock Around the Clock
Bring your 50's & 60's state of mind.
We will eat, rock and roll and bring in the New Year at 10 pm with dancing, fun games and champagne (both alcohol & non-alcohol).

First off, words from the Prez!
Hello dancing friends! Had my family Christmas yesterday, it was great, hope same for all during this Holiday season..

No line dance lessons until January 7th. We will be getting together December 27th for the usual Friday night dance. I plan to throw a few Holiday tunes at the dancers. If you want more Holiday tunes and line dancing, I will be helping the ladies at CASI on Thursday at 10am.

Last Friday's Holiday dance was a great success. The Felkins family surprised us with a visit. Lainey challenged our dances to a few old tunes. Bottom line, all seemed to have a great time. We have one more Friday night dance, hope you can join us. And don't forget those unneeded egg cartons. Prez Gary

Hello Dancing Friends!
First news from the Prez:
Hello all!
With the last two Tuesday nights off, I suggested to Arlene that we do reviews and some dances to Holiday tunes. Come out for some fun and see who wins the free tee shirt.
Not getting enough Holiday dances? I offered to teach Glass of Wine to A Very Merry Rockin' Good Christmas, because it has two restarts, at CASI the next two Thursday's, and they accepted!! Fun begins at 10am.
Friday will be the club's Holiday Party. More Holiday tunes to your favorite dances. Come test your skills at adapting to the Holiday tune.
We had ten hearty dancers last Friday night, I believe all had a good time. But I wonder if all that goes into a dance if we should cancel the December 27th dance.
Lastly, got eggs? Yes, I am still accepting empty egg cartons, and I appreciate the ones you have brought.

Hi Friday niters!! After some thought and conferring with the Board, Friday the 29th dance has been cancelled. With less than ten possible, we will give the
hall a break from setting up, etc. My apologies to those that will be disappointed.

My grandson and his wife got into chickens. What comes with chickens? Eggs. Then what? Egg cartons. So, please if you would, bring any empty cartons you have until further notice.
