The fall 🍂, for a homegrown flower business, is such a busy time! Not only is it time for winter prep + spring plantings, but also being overloaded with late summer blooms! It is ALOT. All good things, all good things!😉
I have only been doing this for 3 seasons and usually am loaded with flowers till frost, BUT this season has looked slightly different. Maybe it’s the obnoxious amount of pests this year, the weather or maybe it’s the lack of desire/time due to SO many other things going on in our busy family life. The garden has slowed to almost completely unable to take orders/fulfill orders/events, which makes so much unnecessary stress for me! With that said, I am officially done taking orders for the 2024 season.
I am beyond excited for spring flowers for my 2025 season, and will begin working on those in the next few weeks! (SO many tulips 💐) I will be doing another spring flower subscription, but will be 6 weeks and will be including ranunculus alongside the tulips! More information coming soon.

My dahlias haven’t been doing so well so far this year, which has been a little disheartening for me! Although, I have been neglecting them somewhat this season so it is possibly my fault! 😐
About once or twice a week I can go out and grab a beautiful handful of them! Thankful for that! These have been sold to a sweet, local florist! 💛💜🧡
