We love our community so much and the amount of good that can be done when we all come together.

355 pizzas sold! To put that into perspective, that's 180 pounds of cheese on top of 530 pounds of freshly made dough.

The amount raised for the day was:
$4,897 in sales
$3,280 in donations collected
For a grand total of $8,077 for Kaeley's family.

To think just a week ago when we began planning all of this we Initially thought we'd only sell fifty pizzas. 🤯

We are still in complete awe of the show of support. From the people who came to wait in a 3-hour line for pizzas to the companies that stepped up to the plate with products and supplies, my Red Rose crew/family, the Golder family, and all the volunteers from Eastern to Central who showed up.

We wanted to express our gratitude to those behind the scenes who made this fundraiser a success.

A huge thank you to Greg Blymire from Smokin Bros for bailing us out by bringing his smoke rig so we could double the amount of pizzas we could put out. Not to mention tents and other equipment.

Performance Foods, Gordon Foods, and B&T Cheese for donating about $1,000 worth of product.

Thomas Shambough HVAC & R kept my equipment running and spent a few hour waiting just in case we needed him. On top of that, he found me a few dough trays to borrow.

Marino's Pizza & Pizza Box for loaning us enough trays to make over 350 dough balls.

Hellam Fire and Hellam Township Police for controlling traffic and making sure everyone was safe.

All the volunteers, young and old, who jumped into roles, dealt with a few hiccups, pivoted when needed, and made it all come together in real time.

And most of all, the heart of this operation was the Red Rose kitchen crew who volunteered their time without hesitation. They spent hours in a hot kitchen making pizzas nonstop at a rate that two ovens and a smoke rig couldn't keep up with.
